Kathryn Skrabo, MSW is an educator and guide in the narrative dimensions of aging, meaning, and life integration. With decades of experience in human development and lifelong learning, hospice volunteering, and reflective life-story work, she brings both personal insight and grounded depth to the question of how we make sense of our lives.
Her years as a hospice volunteer deepened her conviction that elderhood is not a time of decline, but a threshold of meaning — a passage into coherence, legacy, and deeper becoming.
Kathryn is the author of Soul Notes: A Guide to Eldering Through Reflection, Story and Meaning, a journaling companion that supports individuals in exploring life narrative with curiosity and care. Her forthcoming book, The Narrative Arc of Aging, offers a new scholarly framework for understanding aging as an emergent, integrative, and vital phase of human development.
